A THY Turkish Airlines Boeing 737-800, registration TC-JHE performing flight TK-2004 from Istanbul to Nevsehir (Turkey), flew through a flock of birds on final approach to Nevsehir, a number of birds impacted the aircraft. The aircraft continued for a safe landing at Nevsehir.

The occurrence aircraft was able to position back to Istanbul's Ataturk Airport about 8 hours later and resumed service the following day.
