A Ryanair Boeing 737-800, registration EI-EMM performing flight FR-8162 from London Stansted,EN (UK) to Malaga,SP (Spain), was descending towards Malaga when the crew requested emergency services on stand inicating a possible brakes problem. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on Malaga's runway 31 at a normal speed.

The occurrence aircraft was able to depart for the return flight on schedule about 45 minutes after landing.

The airport reported they were alerted to a possible brakes problem.

On May 1st 2015 the airline's chief pilot reported, that the aircraft had a flaps problem requiring to land at a reduced flaps setting and a landing at a higher than normal speed. Following an inspection of the brakes by emergency services the passengers disembarked normally.

Radar data indicate the aircraft reduced to 131 knots over ground while descending through 400 feet MSL (350 feet AGL) and touched down at about 120 knots over ground.
