A replacement Embraer ERJ-175 registration N119SY reached Hartford with a delay of 6.5 hours.
The FAA said the crew initiated an emergency descent reporting the loss of cabin pressure. In a following maintenance examination of the occurrence aircraft no evidence of a loss of cabin pressure and no indications of anything else amiss with the aircraft were found.
The airline reported the aircraft diverted after a single passenger lost consciousness. The airline later updated their report that a total of three passengers reported having lost consciousness temporarily. The passengers were provided with oxygen by cabin crew and quickly recovered. A total of 17 passengers received medical attention at Buffalo.
