A Delta Airlines Airbus A320-200, registration N353NW performing flight DL-1682 from San Antonio,TX to Salt Lake City,UT (USA), was climbing out of San Antonio's runway 04 when a bird impacted the aircraft. In the absence of abnormal indications or abnormal handling the crew continued the flight to Salt Lake City for a safe landing about 2.5 hours later.

The FAA reported on Apr 20th that a post flight inspection revealed damage to the nose cone.
