The aircraft drifted down to FL220 and continued in the direction of Chicago, but about 50 minutes later the crew decided to turn around and divert to Halifax dumping fuel enroute to Halifax. The aircraft landed safely in Halifax about 30 minutes after the decision to divert there.

NAV Canada reported the crew declared Mayday advising the #2 engine had failed, requested and was cleared to descend to FL220 and continued to Chicago. 51 minutes after the emergency call the crew decided to divert to Halifax, dumped fuel for 14 minutes and landed safely 29 minutes after advising they would divert to Halifax.

On Apr 27th 2015 the Canadian TSB reported the right hand engine lost complete oil pressure prompting the crew to shut the engine down as a precaution. The crew declared emergency, requested a descent, fuel dump and diversion to Halifax. Maintenance is investigating.
