A Virgin America Airbus A319-100, registration N523VA performing flight VX-766 from Dallas Love,TX to New York La Guardia,NY (USA), was climbing out of Dallas Love Field's runway 13R when the crew declared PAN reporting the problems with the right hand engine (CFM56), levelled off at 2500 feet, subsequently reported the engine was still running however lost all oil, probably just an indication problem. The aircraft landed safely back on runway 13R about 8 minutes after departure.

A replacement A319-100 registration N525VA reached New York with a delay of 2 hours.
