The Canadian TSB reported that the crew had selected 3,000 instead of 13,000 feet into the altitude alerter. The separation between the two aircraft reduced to 400 feet vertical and 1.1nm horizontally. The occurrence is being investigated by Perimeter's Safety Management System.
