A SAS Scandinavian Airlines Boeing 737-800, registration LN-RRL performing flight SK-4730 from Alicante,SP (Spain) to Bergen (Norway), burst the left main inboard tyre while departing Alicante Airport. The crew continued the flight climbing to cruise level FL360 and FL370 but diverted to Oslo's (Norway) Gardermoen Airport, where the aircraft landed safely on runway 01L about 3:50 hours after departure, vacated the runway and stopped on an adjacent taxiway. Passengers disembarked onto the taxiway and were bussed to the terminal.

A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration LN-RCX reached Bergen with a delay of 3 hours.

A passenger reported there was a bang followed by vibrations during the departure roll. The captain subsequently announced they had blown a tyre on departure and were diverting to Oslo. Following touchdown the vibrations felt during departure roll re-occurred.
