A Jetblue Airbus A321-200, registration N945JT performing flight B6-415 from New York JFK,NY to San Francisco,CA (USA) with 159 passengers and 6 crew, was enroute at FL320 about 100nm northnortheast of Sioux City,IA (USA) when the first officer fainted and passed out. The captain declared emergency and diverted the aircraft to Sioux City's Gateway Airport for a safe landing on runway 31 about 20 minutes later. The first officer walked off the aircraft assisted by medical services and was taken to a hospital.

A replacement crew took the aircraft and passengers to San Francisco reaching the destination with a delay of 7.5 hours.

The first officer was discharged from hospital care a few hours later.
