A Sunwing Boeing 737-800, registration C-FJVE performing flight WG-573 from Montreal,QC (Canada) to San Jose Cabo (Mexico) with 156 passengers and 6 crew, was enroute at FL350 nearing the top of descent when the crew received indication "Stabilizer out of trim", worked the related checklists and declared emergency. The aircraft continued to San Jose Cabos for a safe landing.

The Canadian TSB reported emergency services checked the brakes, the aircraft was subsequently able to taxi to the apron without further difficulty.
