A Boeing 747-400 was descending on the same track about 14nm (2 minutes) ahead of the A346 and about 1000 feet above the Airbus.
On Mar 3rd 2015 the French BEA reported in their weekly bulletin that there was on serious injury on board of the aircraft when the aircraft encountered turbulence on approach to Bangkok. The occurrence was rated an accident, Thailand's Accident Investigation Board is investigating.
