A Somon Air Boeing 737-300, registration EY-545 performing 4J-214 from Krasnojarsk (Russia) to Dushanbe (Tajikistan) with 17 passengers and 6 crew, was climbing out of Krasnojarsk when the crew stopped the climb at 2700 meters and returned to Krasnojarsk due to a problem with the air conditioning. The aircraft landed safely back about 40 minutes after departure.

The occurrence aircraft is still in Krasnojarsk about 48 hours after landing back.

West Siberia's Transport Prosecution Office reported they are looking into the occurrence confirming an air conditioning problem.
