A PIA Pakistan International Airlines Avion de Transport Regional ATR-42-500, registration AP-BHJ performing flight PK-194 from Karachi via Quetta (Pakistan) to Zahedan (Iran), arrived in Zahedan without any obvious incident when a passenger began to complain that the aircraft had flown directly from Karachi to Zahedan without stopping in Quetta. A passenger count resulted in one more person on board than the passenger manifest stated.

It turned out that the passenger had fallen asleep enroute to Quetta, had slept over the stop in Quetta and was still on board when the aircraft departed for Zahedan. The passenger was put onto the return flight PK-197 and disembarked in Quetta about 5 hours later than anticipated.
