An Austrian Airlines Airbus A320-200, registration OE-LBR performing flight OS-791 from Vienna (Austria) to Bucharest Otopeni (Romania) with 39 passengers and 6 crew, was on approach to Otopeni Airport's runway 26L when the crew received only one green indication (left main gear) after extending the landing gear, that persisted even after re-cycling the landing gear indicating the nose wheel steering had failed and the right main gear was unsafe. The crew declared PAN, continued the final for a low approach to have the landing gear inspected from the ground, which found all landing gear in their usual positions. The aircraft positioned for another approach to runway 26L and landed safely, the crew managed to vacate the runway employing differential braking and stopped on the adjacent taxiway. The aircraft was towed to the apron.

The occurrence aircraft was able to depart for the return flight OS-792 after about 2:15 hours on the ground and reached Vienna with a delay of one hour.
