An ADI Aerodynamics Embraer ERJ-145, registration N975RP performing flight DYN-975 from Columbia,MO to Columbus,MS (USA) with the Mississipi State Men's Basketball Team on board, was climbing out of Columbia when the crew stopped the climb at FL230 due to a right hand engine (Ae3007) problem, shut the engine down and diverted to Saint Louis,MO for a safe landing about 20 minutes later.

Members of the Basketball team tweeted that there was a loud noise, flight attendants later explained there had been an engine failure and they were diverting.
