A Jet2.com Boeing 737-800, registration G-GDFF performing flight LS-169 from Manchester,EN (UK) to Ibiza,SP (Spain), was climbing out of Manchester's runway 05L when the crew stopped the climb at FL130 due to autopilot problems and returned to Manchester for an overweight but safe landing on runway 05L about 35 minutes after departure.

The aircraft was able to depart Manchester again after about 6 hours on the ground and reached Ibiza with a total delay of 7 hours.
