A Delta Airlines Airbus A330-200, registration N851NW performing flight DL-629 from Detroit,MI (USA) to Nagoya (Japan), was enroute at FL360 about 280nm northeast of Saskatoon,SK (Canada) when the crew decided to divert to Minneapolis,MN (USA) due to a failed integrated drive generator (engine PW4168). The aircraft landed safely in Minneapolis about 90 minutes later.

The remainder of the flight was cancelled. The passengers were rebooked onto other flights.
