An Alaska Airlines Boeing 737-800, registration N508AS performing flight AS-508 from Seattle,WA to Santa Ana,CA (USA) with 157 passengers, landed on Santa Ana's runway 19R when tower queried whether the aircraft needed assistance reporting the right hand main gear had been smoking during roll out all the way down. The crew advised they didn't need assistance and vacated the runway.

The FAA reported the aircraft blew a right hand main gear tyre on landing.

The airline reported the aircraft had already safely landed when the tower noticed one of the tyres was flat. The aircraft stopped on a taxiway where emergency services checked the gear but didn't need to take action. The aircraft was subsequently towed to the gate.
