A Delta Airlines Boeing 737-800, registration N3738B performing flight DL-1921 from Detroit,MI to Phoenix,AZ (USA) with 151 people on board, was enroute at FL360 about 170nm southeast of Colorado Springs,CO when the crew decided to divert to Colorado Springs when a female passenger became unresponsive. Cabin crew checked the patient and began cardiopulmonary resuscitation while the aircraft approached Colorado Springs and landed safely about 25 minutes later. Waiting medical services had to pronounce the woman dead however.

The aircraft reached Phoenix with a delay of 2.5 hours.
