A Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-700, registration N741SA performing flight WN-861 from Sacramento,CA to Ontario,CA (USA), was descending towards Ontario when the crew reported a suspected fuel leak and decided to divert to Burbank,CA (USA) where the aircraft landed safely.

The airline reported the crew received indications of a possible fuel leak and diverted to Burbank. A faulty fuel indicator was identified and replaced, the aircraft continued to its destination after about one hour on the ground.

The aircraft made the 15 minutes hop to Ontario departing Burbank after about 100 minutes on the ground and reached Ontario with a delay of 100 minutes.
