A Jazz Canadair CRJ-705, registration C-GPJZ performing flight QK-8628 from Atlanta,GA (USA) to Toronto,ON (Canada) with 51 people on board, was enroute at FL390 when the crew received a "flaps fail" caution. The crew requested emergency services on standby for their arrival in Toronto and continued the flight to Toronto. The crew performed a safe flapless landing on runway 23 and temporarily stopped on the runway to have emergency services check the brakes.

The Canadian TSB reported maintenance replaced the left inboard flap skew sensor.
