An Austrian Airlines Fokker 70, registration OE-LFJ performing flight OS-637 from Vienna (Austria) to Saint Petersburg (Russia) with 26 passengers, was climbing out of Vienna when the crew stopped the climb at FL270 due to a flight data computer's malfunction causing further system failures. The aircraft returned to Vienna for a safe landing on runway 29 about 40 minutes after departure.

The flight was cancelled, the passenger were rebooked onto the next morning's flight OS-611 to Saint Petersburg and reached their destination with a delay of 12 hours.
