A Jetblue Airbus A320-200, registration N531JL performing flight B6-683 from New York JFK,NY to Orlando,FL (USA) with 144 people on board, departed New York's runway 13R when just after becoming airborne the crew reported a bird strike into the left hand engine (V2527), they needed to return. The crew stopped the climb at 2000 feet, joined a downwind for runway 13L and landed safely on runway 13L about 18 minutes after departure.

A replacement Airbus A320-200 registration N529JB reached Orlando with a delay of 110 minutes.
