A Tunis Air Airbus A320-200, registration TS-IMR performing flight TU-6049 from Tunis (Tunisia) to Madinah (Saudi Arabia) with 162 people on board, was enroute near Cairo (Egypt) when the crew reported a girl had collapsed and was unresponsive with extremely low blood pressure and decided to divert to Cairo for a safe landing. The girl was treated by medical staff at the airport, recovered and was able to continue the journey.

The aircraft reached Madinah with a delay of about 4 hours.
