Germania B737 at Kos on Jun 29th 2014, passenger fell off stairs while disembarking

A Germania Boeing 737-700, registration D-AGES performing flight ST-4996 (dep Jun 28th) from Manchester,EN (UK) to Kos (Greece), had completed an uneventful flight. While disembarking the aircraft at about 01:30L (22:30Z Jun 28th) a passenger fell off the stairs and received serious injuries upon impact on the apron. The passenger was taken to a hospital.

Germany's BFU reported in their monthly bulletin, that representating the operator's state the BFU joined and support the investigation led by the Greece's Air Accident Investigation and Aviation Safety Board. Greece's AAIASB rated the occurrence an accident.

The occurrence aircraft departed Kos about 3 hours later at approximately 04:30L.
