An Easyjet Airbus A319-100, registration G-EZDH performing flight U2-3043 from London Stansted,EN (UK) to Ibiza,SP (Spain), was enroute at FL370 about 110nm northeast of Bordeaux (France) when the crew decided to return to London Stansted due to problems with the weather radar. The aircraft climbed to FL380 for the way back. Due to weather the crew subsequently decided to divert to London Gatwick, where the aircraft landed safely about 2 hours after departure.

Passengers tweeted the crew told them about a mechanical issue, then they were waiting. Just before they were bound to depart again the captain announced they could not depart because of a passenger mismatch (one too many) on board.

A replacement Airbus A319-100 registration G-EZAM departed Gatwick about 5.5 hours after landing and is currently estimated to reach Ibiza with a delay of 7.5 hours.
