A Lufthansa Cityline Canadair CRJ-700, registration D-ACPQ performing flight CL-68/LH-68 from Frankfurt/Main to Muenster (Germany), was on short final to Muenster, when the captain, pilot monitoring, informed the first officer he was feeling sick. The first officer continued the landing, at touch down the captain became unconscious and slumped sidewards. The first officer brought the aircraft to a safe stop on the runway, where emergency services assisted the captain.

Germany's BFU reported in their May Bulletin released on Sep 18th 2014, that an investigation has been opened into the occurrence rated a serious incident.

On Sep 20th 2014 The Aviation Herald learned that the captain quickly recovered and returned to duty a few days later.
