A Caribbean Airlines Avions de Transport Regional ATR-72-212A, registration 9Y-TTE performing flight BW-1503 from Tobago to Port of Spain (Trinidad and Tobago), needed to return to Tobago due to a bird strike.

Following repairs the aircraft was able to depart again after about 4.5 hours on the ground and reached Port of Spain with a delay of 4.5 hours.

The airline reported the aircraft suffered a bird strike on departure from Tobago and returned to Tobago. Airline engineers repaired the aircraft and returned it to service.
