The incident aircraft is still on the ground in Reus about 32 hours after landing.
The airline reported that the aircraft diverted to Reus due to thunderstorms at Barcelona. During the descent the aircraft was struck by lighting, the aircraft is designed to withstand lightning, the safety of the flight was not compromised.
