A First Air Boeing 737-400, registration C-FFNC performing flight 7F-953 from Edmonton,AB to Yellowknife,NT (Canada) with 54 people on board, was enroute about 110nm south of Yellowknife and about to reach the top of descent when the pilot flying felt ill and transferred control to the pilot monitoring. The aircraft continued to Yellowknife for a safe landing.

The Canadian TSB reported the pilot flying advised that he was feeling ill and transferred control of the aircraft to the pilot monitoring. The TSB rated the occurrence "unable to perform flying duties".
