A United Airways Avions de Transport Regional ATR-72-212, registration S2-AFN performing flight 4H-501 from Dhaka to Coxs Bazar (Bangladesh) with 43 passengers and 5 crew, touched down safely on Coxs Bazar's runway at 17:45L (11:45Z). During roll out the nose gear collapsed however causing the aircraft to come to rest on the runway center line resting on both main gear and the aircraft nose. There were no injuries, the aircraft received substantial damage.

The airport was closed for about 22 hours until the aircraft could be moved off the runway.

The airline confirmed the aircraft was stranded at Coxs Bazar after its "nose-wheel broke down".

Ground witness Hannan Raju reported the aircraft had touched down safely, but during roll out the nose gear collapsed and the aircraft came to rest on its nose causing substantial damage to the fuselage.
