A Pullmantur Boeing 747-400, registration EC-LNA performing flight EB-7008 from Madrid,SP (Spain) to Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) with about 500 people on board, was enroute over the Atlantic about 2.5 hours into the flight when the crew decided to return to Madrid reporting an engine indication. The aircraft landed safely back in Madrid about 5.5 hours after departure.

The aircraft was able to depart again after about 3 hours on the ground and reached Punta Cana with a delay of about 9 hours.
