An Air Berlin Airbus A330-200, registration D-ALPG performing flight AB-7494 from Berlin Tegel (Germany) to Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) with about 300 people on board, was climbing out of Tegel Airport's runway 26 (unclear whether 26L or 26R) when the crew stopped the climb at 4000 feet reporting problems with a board computer. The aircraft entered a holding to burn off fuel and returned to Tegel for a safe landing about 90 minutes after departure.

The airline confirmed problems with a board computer forced the return to Tegel.

The low flying aircraft around midnight to Jun 29th caused noise complaints from the ground.
