An Aigle Azur Airbus A320-200, registration F-HBIX performing flight ZI-232 from Setif (Algeria) to Paris Orly (France) with 66 people on board, was climbing through a cloud layer out of Setif and encountered turbulence and hail while in the cloud layer. Both front windshields cracked as result of hail impact. The crew decided to continue the flight, climbed the aircraft up to FL380 and landed safely on Orly Airport's runway 26.

The French BEA reported in their weekly bulletin that a post flight inspection also revealed damage to the leading edges of the wings and the radome. The occurrence was rated an incident and is being investigated by the BEA.
