The airline confirmed the aircraft overran the end of the runway while landing in rain, all humans on board of the aircraft are safe. The causes of the runway overrun are under investigation.
The airport was closed until about 18:00L.
According to local information out of Changzhi the aircraft may have suffered a hydraulic failure prior to landing.
Changzhi's Wangcun Airport [ZBCZ] in Shanxi region features a runway 01/19 of 2600 meters length, runway 01 is equipped with an ILS.
At the time of the occurrence the airport reported thunderstorms, rain and visibility of 4600 meters.
