An Expressjet Canadiar CRJ-200 on behalf of American Airlines, registration N902EV performing flight EV-2574/AA-2574 from Dallas Ft. Worth,TX to Little Rock,AR (USA) with 50 people on board, was descending towards Little Rock when the crew reported problems with the flaps and indicated they would need to perform a high speed landing. The aircraft landed safely on Little Rock's runway 22L at a higher than normal speed (about 177 knots over ground).

The aircraft was able to depart for the return flight after about 90 minutes on the ground.
