A Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-300, registration N638SW performing flight WN-2133 from San Diego,CA to San Jose,CA (USA), touched down on San Jose's runway 30L and rolled out, the crew taxied to the apron without reporting any anomaly.

The next arrival reported a good number of sea gulls about mid field after checking in with ground frequency.

The FAA reported the aircraft's left hand engine (CFM56) ingested a bird while landing in San Jose, the engine received damage.
