A BQB Lineas Aereas Avions de Transport Regional ATR-72-500, registration CX-LFL performing flight 5Q-1013 from Buenos Aires Aeroparque,BA (Argentina) to Punta del Este (Uruguay) with 46 passengers and 4 crew, was in the initial climb out of Aeroparque Airport when the crew reported the failure of the left hand engine (PW127) due to low oil pressure, levelled off at 2500 feet, shut the engine down and diverted to Buenos Aires' Ezeiza Airport for a safe landing on runway 17 about 16 minutes after departure.
