A CSA Czech Airlines Airbus A320-200, registration OK-LEF performing flight OK-256 from Prague (Czech Republic) to Perm (Russia), aborted the final approach to Perm's runway 21 at about 2700 feet MSL when the crew received a "flaps locked" indication, climbed to 6000 feet and entered a hold to work the related checklists. The aircraft landed safely on Perm's runway 21 at a higher than normal speed about 40 minutes later.

Czech's Investigation Institute into Causes of Accidents (UZPLN) reported in their quarterly bulletin that a technical problem caused the occurrence, a left hand flaps position sensor was replaced and adjusted.
