A Thai Airways Boeing 737-400, registration HS-TDK performing flight TG-281 from Bangkok to Koh Samui (Thailand) with 152 passengers and 7 crew, was climbing out of Bangkok when the crew levelled off at FL260 due to some technical problem with the landing gear and decided to return to Bangkok, where the aircraft landed safely about 40 minutes after departure.

A replacement Boeing 737-400 registration HS-TDG reached Koh Samui with a delay of 3:15 hours.
