A Jazz de Havilland Dash 8-400, registration C-GGFP performing flight QK-8201 from Vancouver,BC to Prince George,BC (Canada) with 75 people on board, had reached cruise altitude 17,000 feet when the crew received indications of fluctuating oil pressure for the right hand engine (PW150) associated with a low oil pressure warning. The crew worked the related checklists, shut the engine down and returned to Vancouver for a safe landing on runway 26R about 40 minutes after departure, the aircraft stopped on the runway, the passengers deplaned onto the runway.

The runway was closed for about 30 minutes.
