Jazz CRJ2 at Halifax on May 21st 2012, unsafe gear

A Jazz Canadair CRJ-200, registration C-GKGC performing flight QK-7077 from Goose Bay,NL to Halifax,NS (Canada), was on approach to Halifax when the crew selected the gear down and received indication the nose gear doors had opened, the nose gear however did not extended with the main gear extending. The crew aborted the approach and selected the gear up and down numerous times which eventually lowered the nose gear too. The aircraft landed safely.

The Canadian TSB reported maintenance replaced the nose gear uplock assembly, aligned the uplock assembly, performed several gear swings, checked for leaks and returned the aircraft to service.
