A Jetblue Airbus A320-200, registration N571JB performing flight B6-671 from Westchester,NY to West Palm Beach,FL (USA) with 142 people on board, was climbing out of Westchester's runway 16 when upon being handed off to departure the crew reported they had bit birds. The crew stopped the climb at 7000 feet reporting they needed to keep the speed down due to nose damage, considered their options and decided to divert to New York's JFK Airport,NY about 25nm south of Westchester. The aircraft landed safely on JFK's runway 22L about 30 minutes after departure.
