An Iberia Airbus A321-200, registration EC-IJN performing flight IB-3203 from Brussels (Belgium) to Madrid,SP (Spain) with 141 people on board, had just reached the top of climb at FL310 when the autoflight system dropped offline due to problems with the navigation systems. The crew coordinated their diversion to Paris Orly via the ACARS system as result of simultaneous issues with the aircraft's communication systems. The crew performed a safe manual visual approach and landing on Orly's runway 26 about 30 minutes later.

The aircraft was able to continue the journey after 90 minutes on the ground and reached Madrid with a delay of 2 hours.
