An Air Wisconsin Canadair CRJ-200 on behalf of US Airways, registration N444ZW performing flight ZW-3972/US-3972 from Manchester,NH to Philadelphia,PA (USA) with 42 passengers and 3 crew, was descending towards Philadelphia when the crew reported problems affecting the landing gear and decided to turn around and divert to Wilkes-Barre,PA (USA). The crew performed a safe flaps up landing at Wilkes-Barre.

Emergency services at Wilkes-Barre's Scranton Airport reported they were alerted of an incoming aircraft with landing gear problems.

Passengers reported various different reasons ranging from trim problems to gear problems and flaps issues. All reported a rough landing at high speed. They were subsequently bussed to Philadelphia about 90nm south of Wilkes-Barre.
