An Endeavor Air (former Pinnacle) Canadair CRJ-200 on behalf of Delta Airlines, registration N8758D performing flight 9E-4100/DL-4100 from Toronto,ON (Canada) to New York JFK,NY (USA) with 35 people on board, landed on JFK'S runway 22L and slowed to taxi speed. While turning off at exit J at about 07:51L (12:51Z) the aircraft slid off paved surface and came to a stop on soft ground still penetrating the protected runway area. No injuries occurred.

The FAA confirmed the aircraft slid off the runway into snow while turning off onto the taxiway. The aircraft was subsequently towed to the apron with the passengers remaining on board. The airport was temporarily closed (for about two hours) to have run- and taxiways sanded.
