A Nova Airways Boeing 737-500, registration ST-NVG performing flight O9-310 from Khartoum (Sudan) to Juba (South Sudan), landed on Juba's runway 13 at about 13:15L (10:15Z), but suffered the collapse of its nose gear during roll out. The aircraft came to a stop on the runway about abeam the airport terminal on both main gear and the nose. No injuries occurred, the aircraft sustained substantial damage.

Kenya Airways and other airlines discontinued service to Juba a few days ago when heavy fighting broke out in South Sudan's capital city.

No NOTAMS and no weather data are available for Juba.
