An Egypt Air Boeing 737-800, registration SU-GDB performing flight MS-969 from Mumbai (India) to Cairo (Egypt) with 40 passengers, was climbing out of Mumbai's runway 27 when the crew stopped the climb at 8000 feet due to the cabin not pressurizing. The aircraft entered a hold at 7000 feet to burn off fuel and returned to Mumbai for a safe landing on runway 27 about one hour after departure.

The aircraft is currently estimated to depart again with a delay of 14 hours.
