An Expressjet Embraer ERJ-145 on behalf of United, flight EV-4238/UA-4238 from Columbus,OH to Newark,NJ (USA), was enroute at FL330 about 75nm south of Buffalo,NY when the crew initiated an emergency descent to 10,000 feet reporting they thought they had a pressurization issue. The aircraft continued to Newark at 10,000 feet and landed safely on runway 04L about 45 minutes after leaving FL330.

A passenger reported the cabin lost pressure, the passenger oxygen masks were released and the aircraft descended to 10,000 feet.
