An Aer Lingus Airbus A320-200, registration EI-DEP performing flight EI-605 from Amsterdam (Netherlands) to Dublin (Ireland), was in the initial descent towards Dublin when the crew reported hydraulics problems and advised they need to be towed off the runway due to no nose wheel steering and the braking capability was degraded. The aircraft entered a hold to complete working the relevant checklists and landed safely on runway 10 about 30 minutes later. The aircraft stopped on the runway and shut down the engines.

The aircraft was subsequently towed off the runway.

All traffic was halted for about 20 minutes over concerns the aircraft might come to a stop on the intersection of runway 10/28 and 16/34, after runway 16 was confirmed available, traffic resumed on runway 16.
